Discussion Topic #3 – Can 2 beliefs that contradict each other both be true? For example, can Mormonism and Christianity both be true?

If you look around and listen carefully, this scenario is everywhere in our current culture. We are being told things like Atheism, Christianity, Mormonism and other beliefs are all equally true. Do you think that is possible?

Can something bad that God allowed to happen to us actually have ultimately been for our good? So God is good all the time yet He allows bad things to happen.

Yes.
The sky is blue
The sky is red
The sky is orange and yellow
The sky is black
The sky is grey

All are true but each statement conflicts with the others.

I don’t think “concept(s)” is the proper word to use in this question. Definition(s): an idea of what something is or how it works. 1 :something conceived in the mind: thought, notion 2 :an abstract or generic idea generalized from particular instances
